Built from frustration with how data infrastructure used to work
Final Space was born from a simple observation: too many South African businesses were drowning in data they could not use. They had ERP systems, CRMs, spreadsheets — but no infrastructure to stitch it together. Decision-making was slow, reporting was painful, and competitive intelligence was nonexistent.
We built Final Space to change that. Starting from first principles — what does a business actually need from its data infrastructure? — we developed an approach that combines cloud-native engineering with clear strategic thinking.
Today we serve businesses across retail, logistics, financial services, and professional services. Every engagement is different. The mission is always the same: build infrastructure that outlasts our involvement and keeps delivering value long after we hand over the keys.
Final Space was born out of a real problem — partnering with Jetline to untangle their data and deliver an enterprise-wide business intelligence system that actually worked.
Word spread. Six more companies joined the network, each facing the same challenge: data they couldn't use. We solved it for every one of them.
Opened a new office and expanded beyond BI into full data engineering and product development — building the infrastructure layer, not just the dashboards on top of it.
Built the first version of Runa Cloud and deployed it across our existing network. Proof that the platform worked — at scale, in production, with real businesses.
Scaling Runa Cloud as an accessible SaaS product — bringing enterprise-grade data infrastructure to businesses that shouldn't need an enterprise budget to afford it.
